AAMPR Scholarship for PA Students

Information and Eligibility Criteria
The Puerto Rico chapter, Academia de Associados Médicos de Puerto Rico (AAMPR) is proud to offer two $500 scholarships to currently enrolled PA students who demonstrate a commitment to serving Puerto Rican communities, on or off the island. Applicants do not need to be of Puerto Rican descent or living in Puerto Rico.

Why should you apply?

Financial: As fellow PA-C’s we understand the financial challenges students face we were there, too. Each scholarship is given in memoriam of a loved one who wanted to promote health in Puerto Rico and this assistance can help you pursue your educational dreams.

-Impact: PA-C’s everywhere are known for the profound difference we make in the lives of our patients. Right now there are less than 10,000 physicians on the island trying to serve all 3.2 million people! You have the potential to be part of us as we change this.

-Recognition: Being awarded an AAMPR scholarship is not just about the financial part; it’s a testament to your dedication, passion, and commitment to healthcare. It’s an accolade that will set you apart and open future doors.

-Mentorship: As a scholarship recipient you’ll be matched with a current PA-C mentor and welcomed into a network of healthcare professionals fighting for Puerto Rico.
