W. R. Hammond Scholarship

Eligibility requirements

• Applicants must:
• Applicants must be residents of Texas.
• Applicants must be U.S. Citizens.
• Applicants must be in good academic standing.
• Applicants must have successfully completed at least one year in an accredited medical school within the state of Texas, which confers Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Dental Surgery or similar degrees, and plan to enroll full-time for the second or subsequent year.

Additional Desired Qualifications:
Demonstration of financial need.

Scholarship specifics
This scholarship is for one year only; however, current recipients may reapply and be considered for additional funding along with other new applicants. Scholarship recipients must be enrolled full-time.
