Amerigroup Rural Medicine Endowed Scholarship

The Amerigroup Rural Medicine Endowed Scholarship was established in 2021 by the Amerigroup Corporation – Anthem, Inc.to support UNTHSC 3rd and 4th year rural medicine students during their rotations in rural Texas communities.

Eligibility Criteria

• Pursuing a degree in Osteopathic Medicine
• Must be a third-year or fourth-year TCOM student
• Must be accepted into the Rural Osteopathic Medical Education of Texas (ROME) program

Recipient must maintain the above requirements to receive the spring scholarship. Failure to do so could result in a loss of scholarship benefits.
