Ray and Edna Stokes Endowed Scholarship

The Ray and Edna Stokes Endowed Scholarship was established in 2000 by friends and family of Ray and Edna Stokes to honor their dedication to UNT Health and the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine. This scholarship supports TCOM students with a desire to practice primary care in Texas and the dedication to osteopathic principles complete their degree.

Eligibility Criteria

• Pursuing a degree in Osteopathic Medicine
• Must be a fourth-year TCOM student
• Must demonstrate a desire to practice primary care in Texas
• Must meet federal guidelines for financial need. Applicants must complete the entire FAFSA process by May 1st.

Recipient must maintain the above requirements to receive the spring scholarship. Failure to do so could result in a loss of scholarship
