Dr. T. Eugene Zachary Rural Scholarship

The Dr. T. Eugene Zachary Rural Quasi Endowed Scholarship was established in 2018 by UNT Health in memory of retired faculty member Dr. Eugene Zachery to support TCOM students in the Rural Osteopathic Medical Education Program at UNT Health.

Eligibility Criteria

• Pursuing a degree in Osteopathic Medicine
• Must be a third-year or fourth-year TCOM student
• Must be accepted into the Rural Osteopathic Medical Education of Texas (ROME) program

Recipient must maintain the above requirements to receive the spring scholarship. Failure to do so could result in a loss of scholarship benefits.
