I. Philip Reese, DO Endowed Scholarship

To honor the memory of I. Philip Reese, DO, cardiologist and faculty member at the University of North Texas Health Science Center’s Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine. A devoted and compassionate physician, Dr. Reese treated patients in Fort Worth for decades and continued caring for underserved communities in central Georgia until his retirement. This scholarship is to support TCOM students who are dedicated to pursuing a career in Internal Medicine.

Eligibility Criteria

• The recipient of the Scholarship must be accepted and enrolled as a medical student in the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine.
• The recipient of the Scholarship must have an interest in pursuing an Internal Medicine residency and/or an Internal Medicine career.

Recipient must maintain the above requirements to receive the scholarship for spring semester. Failure to do so could result in a loss of scholarship benefits.
