Horsman McFadden UNT Health Employee Endowed Scholarship for employee’s spouse and/or dependents attending another accredited college/university (Not UNT Health)
The Horsman McFadden UNT Health Employee Endowed Scholarship was established in 2001 by the UNT Health Foundation to honor former employees, Rand Horsman and Pam McFadden for their years of service to UNT Health. This scholarship supports a current full-time UNT Health employee’s spouse and/or dependents (no age limit) to achieve a college degree at another accredited college/university (Not UNT Health). Please note if you are the spouse or dependent of a UNT Health current employee and are attending another accredited college/university (Not UNT Health) this scholarship will be paid out to the accredited college/university you are attending during the fall semester and will be applied to your account there.
Eligibility Criteria for UNT Health employee’s spouse or dependent attending another accredited college/university (Not UNT Health)
- Must be the spouse or dependent of a current full-time UNT Health employee.
- Must be attending another accredited college/university (Not UNT Health) during the fall semester.
- Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Must be in good academic standing.
- Must be enrolled in at least six semester hours for the fall semester and taking courses that lead to a degree or certificate.
- Must upload proof of registration at the accredited college/university you are attending during the fall semester by census date.
- Must upload copy of college, university or high school transcript.
- Must upload marriage certificate if you are the spouse or a birth certificate if you are the dependent as proof of being the spouse or dependent of a current full-time UNT Health employee.
