Arthur J. Eisenberg Memorial Endowed Scholarship

The Arthur J. Eisenberg Memorial Quasi Endowed Scholarship was established in 2017 by the UNT Health College of Biomedical & Translational Sciences in memory of retired faculty member, Arthur Eisenberg, Ph.D., a pioneer in the field of forensic genetics who helped thousands of families identify their missing loved ones. Dr. Eisenberg, known as Art to his friends and colleagues, helped establish the UNT Center for Human Identification as well as UNT Health’s graduate program for forensic genetics. This scholarship will support students pursuing a degree in Biomedical & Translational Sciences.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be a UNT Health student
  • Pursuing a Bachelor of Science or Master of Science in Biomedical & Translational Sciences
  • Must be in good academic standing

Recipient must maintain the above requirements to receive the scholarship for subsequent semesters. Failure to do so could result in a loss of scholarship benefits.
