Summer Institute for Medical Students/Betty Ford Institute

Open to TCOM students wishing to gain understanding and insight into addictive disease and the recovery process. Applicants must submit: a completed application packet (application form, CV, two letters of recommendation (one by professor or Dean’s Office), and a typed one page essay specifically describing what motivates you to want to attend the Summer Institute (SIMS program). Also, describe how you would anticipate incorporating this experience into your medical education and future practice.
