UNTHSC School of Biomedical Sciences Endowed Scholarship

The UNTHSC School of Biomedical Sciences Endowed Scholarship was established in 2005 by UNTHSC Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences in honor of the school’s 10th anniversary. On July 15, 1993, the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board approved the request to transfer the M.S. degree in biomedical sciences and the Department of Biomedical Sciences from UNT, and to establish a Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences at the proposed UNT Health Science Center. In 2021, the School of Biomedical Sciences received preliminary accreditation to offer our first online bachelor’s degree in biomedical sciences. This scholarship will support all undergraduate and graduate students pursuing a degree in the School of Biomedical Sciences.

Eligibility Criteria

• Must be a UNTHSC student
• Pursuing a Bachelor of Science or Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences
• Must be in good academic standing
• Must answer the supplemental question -
  Describe why you deserve this scholarship.

Recipient must maintain the above requirements to receive the scholarship for subsequent semesters. Failure to do so could result in a loss of scholarship benefits.
