UNTHSC School of Public Health Dean's Award for Resilience

The UNTHSC School of Public Health Dean’s Award for Resilience will be awarded to a student who is overcoming hardship in order to improve the health and wellbeing of others.

Eligibility Criteria

• Must be a returning master’s level degree-seeking student in the School of Public Health.
• Must be in good academic standing.
• Must answer the supplemental question -
  Write an essay briefly describing how overcoming adversity has led you to pursue a degree in the School of Public Health. Please do not include specific details of adverse experiences; instead, focus on the ways in which overcoming hardship has inspired you to serve others.

Recipient must maintain the above requirements to receive the scholarship for spring semester. Failure to do so could result in a loss of scholarship benefits.
