Horsman McFadden HSC Employee Endowed Scholarship for employee's spouse and/or dependents attending HSC

The Horsman McFadden HSC Employee Endowed Scholarship was established in 2001 by the UNTHSC Foundation to honor former employees, Rand Horsman and Pam McFadden for their years of service to UNTHSC. This scholarships supports employees and/or their spouses and dependents achieve a college degree at HSC.

*Eligibility Criteria for UNTHSC employee’s spouse or dependents attending HSC *

• Must be the spouse or dependent of a current full-time UNTHSC employee.
• Must be attending UNTHSC during the fall semester.
• Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Must be in good academic standing.
• Must be enrolled in at least six semester hours for the fall semester and taking courses that lead to a degree or certificate.
• Must upload proof of registration at the accredited college/university you are attending during the fall semester by census date.
• Must upload a marriage certificate if you are the spouse or a birth certificate if you are the dependent as proof of being the spouse or dependent of a current full-time UNTHSC employee.
• Must answer the supplemental questions -
  What certificate or degree are you pursuing?
  What are your educational and career goals and how will this scholarship help you achieve them?
