Rachel Dauphin Memorial Endowed Scholarship

The Rachel Dauphin Memorial Endowed Scholarship was established in 2005 by the UNTHSC School of Biomedical Sciences in memory of Rachel Dauphin, a graduate student who courageously fought Hodgkin’s disease. This scholarship will be awarded to a student each year that shows the same level of enthusiasm, academic ability, and volunteerism, that was a characteristic of Rachel.

Eligibility Criteria

• Must be a UNTHSC student
• Pursuing a Master of Science degree or a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Biomedical Sciences
• Must be in good academic standing
• Must answer the supplemental question -
  Describe why you deserve this scholarship.
  Describe what community service activities you have participated in.
  Provide name and email address for a recommendation from a faculty or staff member, community member, or a current or past employer.

Recipient must maintain the above requirements to receive the scholarship for subsequent semesters. Failure to do so could result in a loss of scholarship benefits.
