Osteopathic Health Foundation Scholarship
The Gibson D. Lewis Library at the UNTHSC campus has a collection that contains selected records, memorabilia, photographs and marketing materials from the largest osteopathic hospital in Texas, the Osteopathic Medical Center of Texas (OMCT). Founded in 1946 as the Fort Worth Osteopathic Hospital, it housed TCOM’s first students in 1970 and served as TCOM’s primary teaching hospital until it closed in 2004. TCOM received funds as a gift to provide awards to TCOM students.
